Tuesday Tidbits

The winds today are turning the leaves upside down. Supposedly, that happens before a storm but I don’t know how true that is. It is a weird wind bringing the tropical air with it and the way the leaves move is just vaguely spooky.

Is it weird that I share medication with my dog? No, I don’t take his medicine but the vet recommended Zyrtec for his allergies and Pecid for his stomach. (The chemo medicine sometimes upsets it). I take the same stuff. One pill for him, one for me. He gets his in a pill pocket – I just use water.

Yesterday, someone from the WHO made a statement that getting the virus from an asymptomatic person is uncommon. Of course the whole masking and social distancing and shut down was based, in part, on the assumed large number of people spreading things without having symptoms. Today, they backtracked. Just kidding. Guess you can get it from asymptomatic people.

When the so called scientists and experts really don’t seem to know what the heck is going on, it becomes harder to trust their recommendations. Just saying.

Still have not made it back to the studio. OwnerGuy has not called since we last spoke which probably means Mini is not yet ready to return. I’ve kind of stopped watching the group classes as well. At one point, it was a nice connection to the studio. Now, it just kind of reminds me of my uncertain dance future and I don’t really want to think about that right now.

Got my allergy shot today. There is the obligatory temperature check. The two nurses doing this aren’t exactly bouncer types. I wonder what they would do if someone just ran by them? I don’t know why you would do that but I just wonder about things like that.

What’s funny is that they recognize me now – at least one does. She made a joke about how I can’t have that many appointments so I must be coming to see them. My first thought was to explain the whole allergy shot situation but that would have pegged me as kind of a humorless person. Of course, I couldn’t come up with a spur of the moment witty comeback so I just kind of laughed and agreed with them. Never thought I was that memorable (maybe its the hair).

That’s all I’ve got.

    1. You’ll want to check with your vet for the correct dose. Rocco is a big boy. I’m guessing Miss Mollie would need a smaller dose.
