Didn’t write anything yesterday because nothing really came to mind. For the near future, our dance lessons are going to primarily focus on the Argentine Tango routine we want to do in October. PJ said something about pushing the limits so we’ll see what that means. Have a coaching lesson next week and we are going to let this guy see what he can add to what the other coach did.

It will be a challenge and that always brings the roller coaster of emotions. Love the challenge when we get done and I feel like I nailed the performance. Hate the parts when I try to do something new and it feels super awkward and then all the doubts take over.

Whatever is going on in my upper respiratory system is still there. The good news is it didn’t get worse. I did double up on the medication last night and that seemed to help. Decided to skip the studio party last night just because I didn’t feel totally up to it.

Really it is just a non productive cough that pops up from time to time like I’m trying to clear something out. My resting heart rate is slightly up and that’s typically a sign that you are fighting something but this still just appears to be a minor allergy related thing.

We have had quite a few “bad air day” warnings lately. That’s kind of a new weather category. In the past, it just meant the day was sort of hazy but now we have a special warning dedicated to this. I guess you are supposed to limit being outside if you are especially sensitive to that sort of thing. I don’t spend a lot of time outside in general but we’ve kept up with the walks so maybe that just irritated things.

Probably shouldn’t have spent that much time on what is really just a minor inconvenience at this point.

Ran into a friend from work randomly yesterday so I got to hear how things are going at the old workplace. Turns out, they aren’t much different. Still shuffling people around because that’s what people at the top love to do. More and more people I knew are retiring which isn’t a shock but just a sign of change.

It is kind of like when you leave a place, your last impression is how you imagine it is. Of course, that isn’t true because life continues and nothing ever stays the same.

We do have a busy weekend. At least it is busy for us because there are a few things we are planning to do. Taking advantage of some of the summer activities around here. Might give me something to talk about later.
