And this is dog number 3. We weren’t planning on going beyond 2 but one day I noticed a stray dog wandering through the neighborhood. I called him and he came right up to me. Had a collar so I drove him around the area figuring he had just gotten lost but there were no takers and no lost dogs ads fit his description.
Poor guy ended up being positive for heart worms and had other worms that required treatment and he hadn’t be neutered so we had to deal with all of the that. Despite being larger than Chrissy, he accepted her as top dog and really got along with both of them right from the start.
